Q: How this
Block Checker or Status Checker works for MSN?
A: There is an option in your MSN MESSENGER PREFERENCES under the PRIVACY tab.
There are 2 columns .. one on the right and one on the left. The names under
your left column are those which are allowed and the names under your right
column are those which are blocked. If you see there .. there is a bold
statement “ALL USERS”. Now this is the real option on which all the
procedure depends. For example now you are looking for the status of some id
like masti4india@hotmail.com if that person has this option “ALL
USERS” in his block list. Then you will not be able to see his status. The
status checker will show him offline. But if the “ALL USERS” option is in
allow list then you can see his status correctly.
Q: Why is my
status indicator for MSN showing offline?
A: Check your Privacy settings. Make sure All other users is in your Allow list.
If you are checking a status for any of your friend and he has blocked "ALL
OTHERS" then you won't be able to see him online.
